DAY 2: FROM NAIROBI TO THE MAASAI MARA
Set out from Nairobi with your private guide en route to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving before lunch at your luxury lodge.
Spend two nights here to explore, discover, and experience the magic and 7th wonder of the world - the “Maasai Mara Game Reserve,” a spectacular watch of the immense “Big-Five” - lion, rhino, buffaloes, cheetah, and elephant - and the wildebeest migration.
ACCOMMODATION:
MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE
2 NIGHTS
As the only safari lodge in the famed Mara Triangle, the Mara Lodge offers a setting matched by few other hotels in the world: perched high on a bush-cloaked hill with sweeping views of the savannah and the meandering shoreline of the Mara River.
Styled to mirror the circular motif of a traditional Maasai manyatta, the lodge blends international sophistication with raw African beauty while featuring twin rows of individual rooms, some with views of the famous Mara River..

DAY 3: EXPLORE THE MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Take advantage of all the Mara has to offer with a full day to explore. The expertise and experience of our driver-guides will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendors of Maasai Mara and beyond. Witness a family of cheetahs sunning themselves sleepily on a rock, the drama of a lion making a kill just 15-20 feet away from you. The trees in the distance turn out to be a giraffe’s family, the clump of bushes is a pride of lions, and the rock that moves may be a rhino lumbering out of your way. Proceed to the Mara River where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch at the river. In any event, the sheer mass and spectacle of the animals surrounding you will provide endless opportunities to fill many an album of treasured memories.
Partake in optional hot-air balloon ride or a cultural visit to a Maasai village

DAY 7: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Set off for the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you’ll stop to explore the world-famous Olduvai Gorge prehistoric site where the fossils of early man were found - “The Cradle of Mankind”. Then proceed to the truly astounding sight of Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest and most perfect volcanic craters. Called “the eighth wonder of the world,” it is an utterly unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time.
Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, roam over 20,000 large mammals across the plains, lakes, and forests of this land that time forgot. The landscape is dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos, lions, and a glorious variety of birdlife. Lunch served on the crater floor will be one of your most memorable picnics ever.
ACCOMMODATION:
NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE
Nestled high above the plains into the Crater’s jagged rim, cloaked in river stone and indigenous vines, Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is barely visible to the naked eye. Framed by arched stone passages and timbered decks, its torch-lit walls are adorned with stylized cave paintings. At the stone heart of the lodge burns a glowing fire, which is kept constantly alight. Rooms are looped around the Crater rim. Each has its own rock-enclosed balcony, and all enjoy completely uninterrupted views of the volcanic amphitheatre far below.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Depart for Amboseli National Park, in the shadow of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Amboseli is one of Kenya’s oldest and most famous parks. Endlessly panoramic yet comparatively compact, it is dotted with emerald-green swamps in which great herds of elephants wallow, half-submerged in the papyrus grasses.
In the afternoon, a game drive will introduce you to the lush swamps of this fascinating landscape. As evening falls, return to camp and enjoy sundowners by the campfire before dinner in the central dining room.
